Will Waldron QC secures £12.75 million settlement

Will Waldron QC from Exchange Chambers has secured £12.75 million on a lump sum basis for a young man who suffered life changing injuries after being knocked down by a speeding vehicle.

The claimant suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result of the accident and will need extensive care for the rest of his life.  He was 13 years-old at the time of the accident and is now 23-years-old.

In approving and commending the settlement, the Judge said it was very much in the claimant’s best interests, commenting that the case was extremely complex and had been expertly handled.
