Wide-ranging success for David Fearon on ADR related matters

David Fearon, counsel and accredited mediator at Exchange Chambers, has secured a number of recent successes on ADR related matters.

As a mediator, David helped two parties to settle a long standing, bitter dispute in less than 6 hours and is hopeful of further success in a number of pending appointments. He also appeared for a claimant in mediation of a complex multi-contract dispute which successfully settled to the client’s satisfaction.

As counsel, he acted in three sets of adjudication enforcement proceedings launched in the Technology and Construction Court (TCC) which all resulted in those he acted for recovering significant sums from the losing parties. He also acted for a party successfully defending a referral to adjudication in which the adjudicator dismissed all of the referring party’s significant claim.

David’s ongoing instructions include acting for a claimant in a large construction arbitration.
