The passing of Anthony Elleray KC

It is with deep regret that Chambers announces the death of Anthony Elleray KC, who passed away on 26th October 2023.
Giles Maynard-Connor KC, a close friend of Anthony and colleague at Exchange Chambers, has written the following:
“Anthony was one of the founding members of Exchange in Manchester and remained a member until his untimely death. He was a true legend of the Chancery/Commercial Bar, and was greatly respected by both Bar and Bench.
For those of us who have known Anthony personally for many years, today is a very sad day indeed. He will be truly missed.”
