Claims for Rent under Covid – Lawrence McDonald will examine recent case law about whether the pandemic affects liability to pay rent in commercial leases. This talk will consider recent decisions on the impact of Covid on the payment of rent, in particular Trocadero v Picturehouse and Bank of New York Mellon v Cine-UK.
