Lawrence McDonald: Electronic Communications Code Update

The new Code came into effect at the end of 2017. In the last year there has continued to be a steady flow of cases from the Upper Tribunal and the Court of Appeal clarifying how the Code will operate and we await the first decision from the Supreme Court which is expected in the New Year. Lawrence McDonald will explain the current position and how the Code affects both landowners and operators.

William Hanbury: The Effect of COVID on Commercial L and T

With particular reference to prospects of possession/reletting longer-term impacts on renewal negotiations, terms and rent review.

Brynmor Adams: Residential Property – Possession, Pitfalls and the Pandemic

Possession orders in respect of residential property were in short supply in 2020 due to the restrictions brought in to respond to the pandemic. Brynmor will consider the outlook for possession claims of residential property in 2021 and will highlight some potential pitfalls for claimants looking to enforce rights over residential land.
