Brynmor Adams – Property & the Pandemic – An Update

Bryn provides a user-friendly update for property litigators covering all of the latest developments resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic. The update will cover both substantive and procedural law that has recently changed as a result of the pandemic and will look ahead to potential future developments.

Peter Dixon – Conservation Covenants

Peter considers the measures in the Environment Bill giving effect to the Law Commissioner’s proposals for ‘conservation covenants’ against the background of the Government’s wider programme of planning and environmental reforms.

Simon Whitfield – Business Rates

Simon will discuss the recent cases on the use of insolvency legislation in order to mitigate or avoid liability to business rates.

Andrew Williams – Proprietary Estoppel

Andrew will consider recent developments in the law of Proprietary Estoppel relating to detriment and appropriate relief.
