As lockdown lifts, Lisa Linklater and Lisa Feng will discuss the current climate for businesses in financial difficulties and their restructuring following the very recent judgments of Snowden J on 12 May 2021 in Virgin Active Holdings Ltd & ors [2021] EWHC 1246 (Ch), sanctioning the restructuring plans of companies in the Virgin Active group, and of Zacaroli J on 10 May 2021 in Lazari Properties 2 Limited & ors v New Look Retailers Limited & ors [2021] EWHC 1209 (Ch), dismissing challenges by landlords to the CVA of New Look.  They will also consider the recently introduced Administration (Restrictions on Disposal to Connected Persons) Regulations 2021.
