10:00 – 10:30 – Paul Lakin & Penny Emmott A Practical Guide to Beneficial Ownership: An update on common intention constructive trusts, practical tips on preparing for trial and possible defences.

10:30 – 11:00 – Lisa Feng What happens when a co-owner becomes bankrupt?: A discussion on common issues in possession proceedings brought by trustees in bankruptcy with focus on the role of constructive trusts and the decision in Nilsson v Cynberg [2024] EWHC 2164 (Ch).

15:30 – 16:00 – Eleanor d’Arcy Laches, Limitation and the Law of Private Nuisance: Eleanor will consider the above principles in the context of the law of private nuisance and will give some practical guidance for property litigators on these thorny but often-encountered legal issues.
