Sarah Griffin and Fiona Clancy appointed as Recorders

Exchange Chambers would like to congratulate Sarah Griffin and Fiona Clancy on their appointment as Recorders.
In total, the King has appointed 97 Recorders on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, The Right Honourable Shabana Mahmood MP, and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable the Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.
Called to the Bar in 2011, Sarah Griffin is a specialist criminal practitioner with experience in a wide-range of criminal matters.
Called to the Bar in 2013, Fiona Clancy specialises in serious crime and is praised by The Legal 500 for her advocacy and “real presence in court”.

Sarah Griffin and Fiona Clancy will sit as Recorders on the Northern Circuit with effect from 18 November 2024. They will continue their full-time practice at Exchange Chambers.
