Overview

Tanita was called to the Bar in 2022 and became a tenant of Exchange Chambers in September 2024 following the successful completion of her pupillage under the supervision of Lawrence McDonald and James Malam.

Tanita has a broad commercial and chancery practice, which encompasses property (residential and commercial), insolvency (personal and corporate), and commercial litigation. She frequently appears in court for applications, interlocutory hearings, and trials in all those areas.

Tanita is also regularly instructed to provide advice and to draft pleadings in a wide range of cases, including landlord and tenant disputes, breach of contract claims, and cases involving torts such as nuisance and negligence. She is happy to provide formal written advice or to advise clients in conference, in person or remotely.

Before being called to the Bar, Tanita enjoyed a successful 10-year career in public relations and communications. She has a solid understanding of the importance of business reputation management and therefore takes a pragmatic approach to practice.
