A vastly experienced Silk , Tania has managed to combine specialisms in two practice areas – personal injury and crime – with a wealth of experience over a wide range of practice areas including defending civil actions against the Police, inquests, defending housing claims and bringing possession actions against anti-social tenants and defending claims for unfair dismissal and discrimination. She also has experience of regulatory work acting as Legal Advisor to Police Disciplinary proceedings and representing the Care Standards Agency. She has also been instructed in Public Enquiry work (IICSA).
She is very familiar with dealing with disputes regarding disclosure of documents and scrutinizing the flow of information to and from both public authorities and private individuals, both by formal channels and by more informal means such as social media. Her range of experience gives her a real insight into the types of information and documentation available and how it is used in a variety of settings.
She believes that this depth and range of experience will stand her in good stead in developing a practice in the fast emerging area of data privacy.
