Practice Overview
Scott was called to the Bar in 2021 and became a tenant of Exchange Chambers in March 2024 following the successful completion of his pupillage under the supervision of Stephen Connolly and Richard Tetlow.
Scott has a broad business and property practice which includes corporate and personal insolvency, residential and commercial property matters, as well as general commercial litigation. Scott is an effective advocate, and regularly appears across those practice areas at both interlocutory hearings and trials. He is also skilled in drafting written opinions and applications and is happy to advise in conference whether in person or remotely.
Prior to commencing pupillage, Scott was previously an insured property paralegal with conduct of a busy caseload of property matters, and has particular experience in landlord and tenant disputes, disrepair, commercial leases, and Housing Act 1988 and Rent Act 1977 possession and rent arrears claims.
