Alison specialises in taxation advisory work and tax based litigation for individuals and corporate clients. Her particular expertise is in indirect taxation particularly VAT, Excise and the Environmental Taxes.
As former Senior Government Lawyer, Alison has extensive experience of administrative and public law and regularly advises and conducts litigation in this area.
Alison advises and acts in relation to Local Government and Registered Social Landlord matters including: tax liabilities, procurement, possession hearings, housing benefit matters before the Tribunal (Social Entitlement Chamber) and public law matters including Freedom of Information and Judicial Review.
