Practice Overview
Mark has been practising as a barrister for over 27 years. His practice encompasses healthcare regulatory work, personal injury and data breach work. He has a wealth of trial experience and is regularly instructed in demanding and complex cases.
Mark has regularly worked within GMC, GDC and GPhC proceedings for over 10 years. Mark represents medical practitioners in proceedings before the fitness to practise panel and the interim orders panel of the MPTS. He also represents the interests of medical practitioners in inquests in the coroner’s court, and the interests of organisations involved in proceedings against the CQC.
Mark prosecutes and defends health and safety cases and is available to give advice at an early stage of the proceedings if required.
Mark also undertakes all aspects of personal injury litigation, acting for both claimants (including on a CFA basis) and defence.
