Marion has prosecuted and defended for over 20 years.  Having spent time at CPS in the North West and the North East, both as an advocate and a manager, she returned to Cumbria to take up a position as in house counsel in a local defence firm.  She has dealt with serious criminal cases both as a litigator and advocate and has an in depth knowledge of what background work needs to be undertaken on a case to get the best outcome for her clients.

Marion adopts a down to earth approach with clients but is a persuasive and meticulous advocate.  She prepares every case with care and precision and will go the extra mile to ensure the best outcome.

Her knowledge of criminal law and police procedure is extensive.  She leaves no stone unturned whether prosecuting or defending and is seen by her peers and those who instruct her as a formidable opponent.
