FIRE SAFETY
Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Authority v Hussain (Manchester Crown Court 2016). Prosecuted landlord of commercial and residential premises regarding numerous breaches under the fire safety regulations.
Tyne and Wear Fire & Rescue Authority v Shaftesbury Care Group Limited (Newcastle Crown Court 2016). Defended company facing allegations under fire safety regulations.
LOCAL AUTHORITY
St Helens Borough Council v Riverside Group Limited (Liverpool Magistrates Court 2018). Represented large housing group facing charges under The Housing Act 2004.
Borough Council of Bolton v Jones (Bolton Magistrates Court 2018). Appeared on behalf the local authority in relation to an application for a closure order under the Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014.
City of Lincoln Council v Newlands Projects Limited and others (Lincoln Magistrates Court 2017). Represented builder prosecuted under the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 for work undertaken on a Grade 2 listed building.
Donald Williams v Manchester City Council (Manchester Magistrates Court 2016). Represented Appellant regarding noise abatement appeal.
Denbighshire County Council v Khan (Llandudno Magistrates Court 2016). Prosecuted Trading Standards case concerning fraud offences when selling cars through Ebay and Gumtree websites.
ICO v SSL Limited (Manchester Magistrates Court 2015). Represented a company in a case brought by the Information Commissioner’s Office concerning alleged breaches of the Data Protection Act 1998.
