For eight years Jonathan was head of the Commercial Insurance Litigation department at the leading insurance firm, Keoghs. Whilst there he was responsible for a caseload of high value insurance litigation including professional negligence disputes. From 2005 he was recognised as a leading practitioner in the field by both The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners.
Jonathan accepts instructions on a wide variety of professional negligence disputes on behalf of both insurers and claimants, and understands the nuances involved in consideration of such disputes. He has particular experience in disputes involving the following

Successful professional negligence claim against solicitors arising from a fraudulent property transaction, issues involving whether or not a duty owed by a solicitor to the third party claimant could be established.
Advising in relation to a professional negligence claim against Lloyds brokers following a refusal by the Lloyds syndicate to indemnify under an insurance policy following a building fire.
