  • Beyond the Bar

    In September 2014, David spent 4 weeks in New Delhi, working with Sidharth Luthra, Senior Advocate at the Supreme Court of India.

    Before he commenced pupillage, David spent a year working for the Independent Police Complaints Commission. David was an Investigation Researcher, assigned to the Hillsborough investigation. This was the same topic which was covered by David in his undergraduate dissertation. He won an award for the best undergraduate project.

    David is a keen sportsman. Over recent years, David has completed two marathons, in New Orleans and Liverpool.

Drawing from his personal injury background, David has recently developed a practice in the niche area of data breach and privacy.

His experience of delivering written advice and drafting pleadings in the area of personal injury is invaluable when advising on personal and sensitive data breach claims.

David is well-placed to provide specialist advice on issues arising out of ICO investigations and compliance. David can also advise individuals and companies on the implications of a breach of their data by third parties.
