Practice Overview
Charlie is a busy junior with an excellent reputation. He has a broad civil practice, and accepts instructions from individuals, businesses and the government across a range of civil matters.
Charlie practices in the areas of:

- Insolvency
- Professional Negligence
- Personal Injury
Charlie’s commercial practice is wide, covering commercial litigation, fraud, product liability, corporate and personal insolvency, and financial services litigation. He is experienced in alternative dispute resolution.
His personal injury and professional negligence practice is now predominantly multi-track/high value litigation.
Charlie was appointed Junior Counsel to the Crown in 2023 on the Attorney General’s Regional Panel. As such, in addition to his general practice, he regularly advises and represents the major government departments and ministers, including the MOJ and HMRC.
He is instructed as sole counsel in work that exceeds his year of call and is also regularly instructed as a team in conjunction with solicitors and leading counsel. He combines his court work with a busy advisory and drafting practice.
He is a recognised by the legal directories as being a Leading Junior on the North Eastern Circuit.
