Chantal joined Chambers in July 1993 as an office junior, where she was responsible for a range of administrative duties, and coordinating chambers’ seminars and conferencing. From 1995 to 2020 Chantal was PA to Tom Handley, and assisted him with various HR and administrative duties. Chantal was also appointed as company secretary, dealt with pupillage applications and was responsible for arranging all internal committee meetings and organising internal events.
Chantal has now taken on a new role within Chambers. Chantal deals with all aspects of Recruitment and Pupillage from established barristers to pupils and manages the pupillage process from the recruitment stage right through to the end of pupillage. Chantal sits on the Recruitment and Pupillage Committee.
In her spare time, Chantal loves to read, taking canal boat holidays, walking, and spending time with her family.
