Practice Overview

Andrew has rapidly developed a heavyweight prosecution practice and is well respected for his meticulous preparation and pragmatic attitude. He has prosecuted many multi- handed conspiracies and has been led in numerous cases involving gangland murder, heavyweight armed robbery and fraud.

He is regularly instructed as a Leading Junior and is a Category 4 Prosecutor. Andrew has extensive experience of internal police regulation and was recently involved in a case that required sensitive negotiation between the CPS, IPCC and GMP Professional Standards Department following the fatal shooting of a ‘suspect’ by a Police Officer.

Andrew has recent experience of representing doctors before the GMC Interim Orders Panel which is an area that he is particularly keen to develop. He also has experience of representing interested parties before the Coroners Court.
