Not guilty of Murder: Benjamin Myers QC and Dan Travers secure acquittal

Benjamin Myers QC and Dan Travers have secured the acquittal of a man charged with murder after a trial lasting three weeks at Manchester Crown Court. Peter Connors, who was represented by Benjamin and Dan, had been charged with the murder of another man.
The prosecution said that the murder was committed because of a violent grudge held by Peter Connors towards the deceased against a background of drug dealing. The jury rejected the allegation, acquitting Mr. Connors unanimously, although they convicted another man of the murder.
