Misconduct charges against Ceri Widdett’s client not proved at NMC
April 4, 2016
Allegations of dishonesty against a registered nurse, represented by Ceri Widdett from Exchange Chambers, have been found not proved at the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
The NMC holds fitness to practice hearings where a nurse has fallen below the standards expected of them, whether as a result of ill-health, a lack of competence, or because of misconduct, and the nurse’s fitness to practise appears to be currently impaired.
Ceri Widdett, who was a qualified Registered General Nurse before becoming a barrister, regularly appears at Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and the Health Care Professional Council (HPC). She is described by Chambers UK, the independent legal directory, as being “particularly good at health type cases”.
Ceri is a member of the Employment Team at Exchange Chambers.
