Marathon fundraiser for Exchange Chambers

Barristers and staff from Exchange Chambers continued their fundraising initiatives for The Joshua Tree this weekend by running the Greater Manchester Marathon and the Liverpool Half Marathon.

Stuart McCracken, John Waiting, David Williams and Giles Maynard-Connor completed the full marathon, while Joe Mawson took on the half marathon.  A  team of four – Nick Buckley, Peter Smith (from the charity), Sheren Guirguis and Elizabeth Guirguis – took part in a relay while Rebecca Clark also ran in Liverpool with her sister, Catherine Cotgrave.

In total the Exchange Chambers teams raised almost £6,000.

The Joshua Tree supports families across the North West living with the life-changing experience of childhood cancer.  To date, Exchange Chambers has raised over £25,000 for this charity with a number of further fundraising events planned for the rest of the year.
