May 31, 2016
Exchange Chambers has continued to strengthen its commercial department in Manchester with the arrival of London barrister Greg Plunkett as a new member.
Greg joins Exchange Chambers from Selborne Chambers in London.
With extensive experience in complex and high value claims, Greg’s practice covers commercial and business dispute resolution including arbitration, breach of trust and fiduciary duty, contract, company, shareholder and partnership disputes, fraud and misrepresentation, professional negligence, and casualty, insurance and nuisance claims.
Joining Exchange Chambers marks a return to the North West for Greg who was previously a senior partner and board member at Hill Dickinson. For many years he has been identified in the legal directories as a leading practitioner. He qualified as a solicitor in 1988. His desire to continue practising law at the highest level led him to transfer to the Bar in 2013.
Commenting on his decision to join Exchange Chambers, Greg Plunkett said:
“I am delighted to join Exchange Chambers’ commercial department in Manchester.
“In recent years, Exchange Chambers has established itself as the leading commercial set outside London, with quality practitioners and strength in depth across the board.
“I am also looking forward to returning to the North West, a region with such a strong and dynamic legal services sector.”
Said Tom Handley, Director of Chambers at Exchange Chambers:
“Since transferring to the Bar in 2013, Greg has built an extremely impressive commercial practice in London. By joining our commercial team in Manchester, he can continue to build on his success with a range of quality, heavyweight instructions.”
