Julian King successfully represents Officer in Police Misconduct Hearing

Julian King has been successful in representing an Officer in Police Misconduct Hearing facing allegations of discreditable conduct.  Julian, from Exchange Chambers, was instructed by Catherine Gaynor of JMW Solicitors.

PC N faced allegations of the use of homophobic and derogatory language during training, and during a social event.

Following a 2-day hearing held at Greater Manchester Police Headquarters, the Panel found the Officer’s behaviour to amount to gross misconduct.

Following detailed submissions advanced on his behalf the Officer was issued with a Final Written Warning.
