Jonathan Elystan Rees QC joins Exchange Chambers as a door tenant

Newly appointed silk Jonathan Elystan Rees QC has joined Exchange Chambers as a door tenant.
Jonathan, who was called to the Bar in 2000, specialises in serious and complex crime, white collar fraud and professional discipline.
Jonathan has been ranked in the legal directories for a number of years. This year’s Legal 500 says his technical knowledge is “first class” while Chambers & Partners describes him as “outstandingly able”.
A full member at 5 Paper Buildings in London and Apex Chambers in Cardiff, prior to taking silk Jonathan was a Grade 4 member of the CPS National Serious Crime Group Advocate Panel 2011-2019, a member of the Specialist Rape Panel 2011-2019, a Grade 4 General Crime Prosecutor with CPS 2011-2019 and a Panel A member of the Welsh Government Advocates’ Panel 2012-2019.
