Ian Whitehurst successfully represents former deputy headmaster at TRA Hearing
June 7, 2023
After a 5-day virtual hearing, Ian Whitehurst from Exchange Chambers, representing a former deputy headmaster, secured a finding by the professional conduct panel of the Teaching Regulation Agency that professional misconduct had not been proven against his client.
His co-respondent counsel described Ian’s final submissions to the panel as a ‘masterclass’ in persuading them that the TRA had failed to prove their case.
Ian Whitehurst was instructed by Anthony Nelson of Haworth & Gallagher Solicitors in Birkenhead.
