Ian Whitehurst successfully opposes HMRC application

Ian Whitehurst from Exchange Chambers has successfully opposed the application by HMRC for a Production Order against a successful businessman and his group of companies.

Ian argued that the order was unnecessary and disproportionate in nature.

After considering Ian’s skeleton argument and reviewing the engagement by the client’s solicitors, the application was withdrawn before the court before the final hearing.
