Hannah Forsyth has been appointed as Junior of the Northern Circuit

Hannah Forsyth from Exchange Chambers has been appointed as Junior of the Northern Circuit.

Hannah was appointed to the role on 10^th April 2025 at the Northern Circuit Mess. This role will be performed for two terms, and will finish at the end of the year.

In her role as Junior of the Northern Circuit, Hannah will work with the Leader of the Circuit, Jaime Hamilton KC, with responsibility for organising Mess dinners for the Bar and Bench in Liverpool, Manchester, Preston, Carlisle and Chester, as well as celebratory dinners for senior judicial appointments and important guests of the Circuit.

Hannah was called to the Bar in 2021 and became a tenant at Exchange Chambers in October 2022 following the successful completion of her pupillage, specialising in criminal law. Since then, she has developed a busy criminal practice, prosecuting and defending in equal measure.
