General Dental Council appointment for Ashley Serr

Ashley Serr from Exchange Chambers has been appointed to the General Dental Council (GDC) as a legal advisor to their fitness to practice panel.

The GDC regulates dentists and dental care professionals in the United Kingdom setting and enforcing standards of dental practice and conduct, protecting the public from illegal practice, assuring the quality of dental investigation and investigating complaints.

Legal advisors to the GDC are lawyers of at least 10 years’ standing. They are statutory appointments whose mandatory role is to advise the lay Panel on all matters of law, practice and evidence.

Ashley Serr will sit at the GDC tribunal in Wimpole Street London in a part time capacity.
