Exchange Chambers targets further expansion in Leeds
September 29, 2016
Exchange Chambers has signalled further expansion in Leeds by taking an additional 2000 sq ft of space at Oxford House, Oxford Row.
Exchange Chambers opened in Leeds in 2010 and now has 29 barristers covering a wide range of practice areas including commercial, crime, personal injury, employment, property, regulatory and insolvency. The Set also has two Leeds-based silks, Christopher Tehrani QC and Nick Johnson QC.
Commenting on Exchange Chambers’ expansion in Leeds, Director of Chambers Tom Handley said:
“Our Leeds Chambers has made giant strides in recent years. The additional space will help to facilitate further expansion as we continue to welcome outstanding barristers across all practice areas.”
Added Tom:
“As one of the country’s largest Sets, the multi-disciplinary nature of Chambers enables us to pass on the economies of scale to both our barristers and our clients.
“By embracing modern working practices we are also able to increase revenue and minimise costs. Members receive instructions on the very highest quality work and also benefit from the option of flexible contributions. This combination is fuelling our growth.”
In a further boost, Exchange Chambers has secured its highest ever rankings in the newly released Legal 500, where it is described as a “regional powerhouse” and praised for its “great depth of experience and expertise at all levels.”
Exchange Chambers has also been shortlisted for Regional Set of the Year at the Chambers UK Bar Awards 2016.
