Exchange Chambers supports Liverpool Law Clinic’s 2024 prizegiving ceremony

Exchange Chambers was proud to support Liverpool Law Clinic’s 2024 prizegiving ceremony.

Supported by law students from the University of Liverpool, the Law Clinic offers free legal advice to members of the public who are unable to otherwise afford it. It also exists to educate students, to offer practical legal opportunities, develop legal skills and to foster a sense of social justice whatever area of law students end up going into in the future.

Every year, the University of Liverpool holds an event to celebrate the Law Clinic work its students have undertaken.

At this year’s event, Exchange Chambers sponsored the Family Court Award.  The award was won by Natasha Streeton who was praised for her “commitment to clients and to the court project”.

Liverpool Law Clinic’s family team run a busy practice and support service for parents facing court proceedings.  The service is run by students and lawyers working together and students progress through the project in stages to build their skills and confidence.
