October 20, 2022

Exchange Chambers has secured over 100 individual rankings in Chambers UK.

Chambers’ main practice areas across the Northern and North Eastern Circuits are all ranked highly with 13 departmental rankings in total.

Chambers UK 2023 credits Exchange for having “extremely knowledgeable counsel with a wealth of experience”.  It goes on to praise the set’s “forward-thinking barristers” with an “excellent range of counsel at different levels of experience.”

Exchange’s clerks are also recognised for being “responsive and commercial” while making “great use of technology”.

A ranking in Chambers UK is the definitive mark of excellence across the legal industry.  It comes after many months spent researching the market by the UK team.

Commenting on the rankings, Jonathan I’Anson, Chief Executive of Exchange Chambers said:

“To secure over 100 individual rankings is a real credit to our barristers who are recognised as true leaders in their field.

“It is also important to recognise the outstanding support Chambers’ members receive from our clerks and staff and we are hugely appreciative of the positive feedback from our instructing solicitors.”

The Chambers UK recognition follows on from Exchange securing its highest ever rankings in The Legal 500.

The Legal 500 describes Exchange as a “superb set” with “exceptional barristers at all levels of experience”.  Exchange is further praised for being “a formidable and outstanding organisation that keeps going from strength to strength”.
