Exchange Chambers recognised as national market leader in new pupillage survey

September 28, 2023

Exchange Chambers’ commitment to developing the next generation of legal talent has been recognised by The Legal 500 Future Lawyers Pupil and Junior Barrister Survey 2023.

Exchange scored particularly highly for work quality, satisfaction, clerks, approachability, tenancy selection, social life and mini pupillage.  The set was also recognised for its “collegiate atmosphere and quality of work”.

Talking about the reasons for choosing Exchange, pupils recognised Chambers’ “quality of work, location and reputation” as well as the set’s “friendly and supportive” culture.

Pupils were quick to praise the training available at Exchange, pointing out that it involves “a higher quality of work from the get-go”.

Pupils at Exchange have enjoyed a number of positive experiences, such as “going to the Court of Appeal”, and “being involved with very large/important cases from the beginning of pupillage”.

The survey also recognised Exchange’s CSR and Pro Bono programme with pupils actively supported to pursue pro-bono work.
