Exchange barristers appointed to Attorney General’s Panel

Following the recent application process, 17 barristers from Exchange Chambers are now members of the Attorney General’s Panel of Junior Counsel to the Crown.

In the 2025 competition, Brynmor Adams was appointed to the A Panel and James Kinsey was appointed to the C Panel.

In total, Exchange Chambers has 10 members on Panel A, 3 members on Panel B and 4 members on Panel C.

Louis Browne KC and Giles Maynard-Connor KC from Exchange Chambers are also on the Government Legal Department’s list of King’s Counsel.  The GLD maintains a non-exhaustive list of King’s Counsel who have previously been instructed by departments or have expressed interest in receiving instructions.

The Attorney General’s Panel of Counsel consists of junior counsel who undertake civil and EU work for all government departments.
