Eddy Steele secures not guilty verdict in controlling or coercive behaviour trial

Eddy Steele from Exchange Chambers, instructed by Jane Millar of Kristina Harrison Solicitors, has secured a not guilty verdict for his client after a six day trial at Bolton Crown Court in respect of an allegation of controlling or coercive behaviour.

The client was sentenced, time served, in relation to one count of common assault, and not guilty of four other common assaults.  This follows the recent not guilty verdicts in the murder/rape trial, in respect of which Eddy was junior defence counsel.

Eddy has a string of trial victories under his belt since joining Exchange last year.
