Damian Garrido KC appointed as High Court Judge

Exchange Chambers would like to congratulate Damian Garrido KC on his appointment to the High Court.

Mr Justice Garrido will be assigned to the Family Division, where he will bring 18 years of experience as a barrister specialising in family law, and eight years of judicial experience as a Deputy High Court Judge, to his role.

Damian Garrido KC will be known as The Honourable Mr Justice Garrido. He was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1993 and took Silk in 2015. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2012 and as a Deputy High Court Judge in 2016.

He will take up appointment on 30 September 2024.
