£4.75 million settlement for Chris Barnes KC and Thompsons Solicitors

Chris Barnes KC, and amputation specialist Nicola Simmons, senior solicitor of Thompsons Solicitors Manchester, have secured a settlement of £4,750,000 for a unilateral below knee amputee.

Settlement was achieved at a mediation shortly prior to trial. The settlement negotiated falls at the higher end of those seen for a below the knee amputee.
