Chris Barnes KC and Carpenters Group secure £5.2 million settlement

Chris Barnes KC from Exchange Chambers and Conal Gallagher from Carpenters Group have negotiated a settlement of just over £5.2 million for a client who suffered multiple orthopaedic injuries in a road traffic accident.

 They included injuries to both legs and thumbs and a significant psychological injury.

 The settlement was agreed at a Joint Settlement Meeting shortly prior to trial.

 Commenting, Conal Gallagher said: “it was a privilege to represent our client in this long running and serious claim and we are delighted to have negotiated a favourable and successful outcome to it.”
