Chris Barnes KC and Tim Wilkinson secure £2 million settlement in brain injury case

Chris Barnes KC and Tim Wilkinson from Exchange Chambers have secured a settlement of £2 million for a young woman who suffered a serious brain injury as a youngster.

The woman, now aged 23, was 5 years-old when she was involved in the accident which caused her brain injury.   With the passage of time, the effects of the brain injury became more and more pronounced and she fell behind her peers and, importantly in terms of a comparison, her twin-sister.  As a result, her career prospects have been compromised and she requires ongoing support on a personal level and with regard to her young daughter.
