Ceri Widdett blogs for new website aimed at working parents
August 10, 2015
Ceri Widdett from Exchange Chambers has become a blogger for Mothers Mean Business, a new website community aimed at working parents.
Mothers Mean Business aims to offer all the information, advice and support that working parents need for their career and personal life, collected on one website. This includes a job board section, that is coming soon in October 2015, for all part time careers available initially in Yorkshire but with a view to go UK wide.
Ceri, a specialist employment barrister, has been a working mum for 25 years. Having been in practice in Leeds for nearly 20 years, she has represented clients in claims in employment tribunals up and down the country, the Employment Appeal Tribunal, in mediations and at internal disciplinary and grievance hearings.
A number of Ceri’s cases have been reported in the law reports and in the media. She recently appeared in the Court of Appeal and has been recognised nationally as a leader in the field of discrimination law for a number of years. She is continuously recommended as a leading junior in both Chambers and Partners UK and the Legal 500.
Ceri is an experienced member of the employment team at Exchange Chambers.
