Leeds expansion gathers pace as Caroline Abraham joins Exchange Chambers
December 3, 2019
Exchange Chambers has continued its fast-paced expansion in our Leeds chambers with the arrival of Caroline Abraham as a new member.
Caroline, who was called to the Bar in 2013, joins Exchange Chambers from 39 Park Square Chambers, having previously completed her pupillage with the Crown Prosecution Service.
Caroline’s prosecution and defence practice covers a broad range of criminal matters including assault and violent offences, acquisitive offences, drugs offences, public order offences, motoring and vehicle crime, sexual offences and youth matters.
Commenting on her decision to join Exchange Chambers, she said:
“I am thrilled to be joining Exchange Chambers, a first-class set. I look forward to further developing my practice at this Northern powerhouse.”
Said Tom Handley, Chief Executive at Exchange Chambers:
“We are continuing to develop our Leeds Chambers across all practice areas and levels of seniority. Caroline is a welcome addition to our criminal team – we are delighted to welcome her to Chambers.”
Exchange Chambers’ expansion in Leeds has gathered pace in recent months. In September, the Set welcomed Andrew Haslam QC as its third Leeds-based silk alongside Chris Tehrani QC and Nick Johnson QC. Earlier this month, Exchange also voted in Eddison Flint as a full member.
