Benjamin Myers QC and Imran Shafi secure not guilty verdict in murder trial

Benjamin Myers QC and Imran Shafi of Exchange Chambers have secured the acquittal of a young man tried for murder after a trial lasting three weeks at Manchester Crown Court, Crown Square.
Zeeshan Ali was alleged to have stabbed another man gratuitously and at the conclusion of a confrontation in the early hours of the morning. The jury rejected the allegation, and Mr. Ali and his co-accused were acquitted unanimously.
Benjamin and Imran were instructed by Shahid Choudhury of Middleweeks solicitors.
