Andrew Jebb secures acquittal after conspiracy to supply cocaine trial

Acting as lead junior, Andrew Jebb from Exchange Chambers has secured an acquittal for his client after a conspiracy to supply cocaine trial at Southwark Crown Court.
The case involved huge quantities of cocaine being flown into the UK in a specially adapted helicopter, landing at 5 star hotels in Kent. Andrew’s client had been stopped with 40kg of cocaine in the boot of his car at M20 services in Kent. He was acquitted, along with three other defendants, after 5 week trial before HHJ Loraine-Smith. Three other men, one Belgian and two from the UK, pleaded guilty earlier in the proceedings and are waiting to be sentenced.
