Alex Menary secures acquittal for serving police officer accused of sexual assault

Alex Menary from Exchange Chambers has secured an acquittal for a police officer accused of sexually assaulting a female colleague while driving her home from work.

The police officer, who has been suspended from Greater Manchester Police for two years awaiting the outcome of criminal proceedings, was unanimously acquitted after a 5-day trial at Liverpool Crown Court.
