Successful Drugs Conspiracy Prosecution for Alex Menary and Eddison Flint

Prosecuting on behalf of Leeds CPS, Alex Menary and Eddison Flint have secured further convictions in a multi-handed drugs conspiracy following a recent trial at Leeds Crown Court. Originally 4-handed, the trial surrounded a drugs exchange involving 6 kilos of import-strength cocaine with a street value of £862,000 in the Meanwood area of Leeds in November 2020.

During searches numerous firearms, ammunition, further drugs, and a drugs factory were found, leading to guilty pleas from the main players pre-trial. Following a significantly reduced 6-day trial, unanimous verdicts were returned by the jury in respect of the sole remaining conspirator.
