Adam Beaumont secures significant judgment in deceit claim

Adam Beaumont of Exchange Chambers successfully obtained judgment for his client in a claim for deceit.

Adam was instructed for the Claimant in respect of a claim for deceit where it was alleged the Defendant had obtained monies from the Claimant by claiming he and associates were working at a firm of stockbrokers, whereby they would invest the Claimant’s money which would provide high-yield returns. In fact, the money was used by the Defendant for luxury holidays and gambling.

Following long and protracted proceedings, Adam secured successful disposal of the claim following a hearing at the Manchester CJC, with the Claimant receiving over £250,000.00 plus costs.
