Acquittals for Eddison Flint in case plagued by disclosure
October 6, 2021
Eddison Flint from Exchange Chambers secured acquittals for a client of previous good character in York last week, despite significant failures in disclosure threatening to derail the case.
Disclosures were made by the prosecution on the day of trial that went to the very heart of the issues in the case, causing significant concerns in relation to the first count on the indictment. Eddison was able to cast doubt on the prosecution case that resulted in unanimous acquittals for his client charged with 2 counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Eddison was instructed by Adam Henry of M and A Solicitors.
Eddison is a member of the criminal department at Exchange Chambers.
